Kim Harrell
Kim Harrell is a silversmith and jewelry artist who makes distinctly textured and clean-lined jewelry and silver ware primarily using precious metals and occasionally combined with gemstones or unconventional materials such as felt, rubber and steel. She studied at the London Metropolitan University, Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design where she obtained her B.A. in Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts. Kim was born in Denver, CO and currently resides in Aurora, CO where she runs her studio and teaches at The Art Students League of Denver and the Community College of Aurora.
Kim’s work can be found in private and corporate collections in the USA and Europe. The Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art in Denver acquired a set of her silver sculptural spoons that are currently on display in the Sculpture section.
