Raven Rohrig

Raven Rohrig’s paintings reflect a process driven by the urge to create. Born into a family of artists, she spent many nights watching her father paint in his studio. Even as a child, Rohrig felt the desire to give life to her ideas through art which was a part of her daily play. Perceiving art and inspiration in all things, she created with total abandon. Creating was and is intrinsic to her being.

The bold and stylized paintings begin in her mind and flow to the canvas after exploring the interactions of color, form and emotions. Rohrig’s process evolves through personal contemplation and spontaneous inspiration.

Rohrig states “If not for art, how do we express ourselves? My work is an exploration of color and emotion joined together to tell a story. I hope to bring viewers moments of reflection and personal connection with the paintings.
